Realizing the critical importance of corporate social responsibility towards climate change, the Group has invested in alternative forms of Energy (Photovoltaic Parks). Since 2012, with the aim of actively participating in the reduction of global CO2 emissions, a total of five photovoltaic stations were created, four of which are in Agios Antonios, south of Heraklion Crete.

At the same time, another station has been installed in Rhodes, in Gaion Eftaimati Asklipieu, to date, we have managed to produce more than 6,160,000 kWh of green energy saving more than 1,436,140 tons of CO2.

With reference to the four (4) PV plants on the island of Crete, this obtains a total installed capacity of 310 kWh, generating about 513,000 kWh of green energy per year. With this production, the carbon footprint can be reduced by 425.20 tons each year.

Since its formation, over 3,000,000 kWh of green energy has been generated, saving more than 2,487 tons of CO2 being released into the atmosphere.

Another PV plant was incorporated on the island of Rhodes, it has a total installed capacity of 100 kWp generating approximately180.000kWp of green energy per year. With this production we are able to reduce our carbon footprint by17.000 tonnes of CO2 every year. In total since the start of the PV plant we have been able to produce more that 1.134.702, 30 kWh of green energy, saving more than 230.000 CO2.
